WORLD COIN SETS CATALOG

Coin sets from almost 200 different nations are included in this listing.   These coins reflect the cultural heritage of the many nations of the late 20th and early 21st century.  Many coins feature native wildlife, plants, handicrafts or industry.  The coins form an interesting collection or can make an educational gift that reflect a persons national origins or interests. 
 
Unless otherwise indicated in the comments column, all coins are Uncirculated.  The coins are not packaged in any special holders, they come loose in coin envelopes or bags so you can package the coins as you wish.  Please see our coin supplies page  www.joelscoins.com/supplies1.htm  for a large listing of coin holders and pages.

1.        When ordering please list the country name and indicate you are ordering from the On-line World Coin Sets List (or use the Item Code).
2.        Orders are accepted by our Secure Order Form Page,  e-mail to orders@joelscoins.com, postal mail (our address is at the bottom of this page), phone or fax (phone/fax 1-805-489-8045).
2.        Please include postage.  Orders sent to a U.S. address should include $3.00 for orders under $50, $4.50 for orders from $50 to $100, $7.50 for orders from $100 to $600.  Free shipping on U.S. orders over $600.  Orders to other countries will be charged based on actual costs. 3.        California residents please add 8.25% sales tax.
4.        Prices are in US dollars.  Payment may be made by American Express, VISA, MasterCard, Paypal, personal check, money order, cash (sent at your risk), Western Union or Moneygram.

7.        Sorry, we do not have pictures of many of these sets. Over time we will be adding the pictures to our website.  The country names that are underlined are linked to scans of the sets.  Sometimes the dates of the coins may vary from what is in the picture.
 
PLEASE NOTE:
If more than one date is listed under Date Range, then the set will include coins of various dates within that range.  Many nations do not issue all denominations every year. We cannot provide sets of a particular year when multiple dates are listed.   Likewise where a range of catalog numbers is provided the set includes the first and last number listed, but not necessarily all the numbers in between. Krause often does strange things with the KM numbers within particular series, so that the coins within a series do not necessarily have consecutive numbers.
NATIONAL STATUS
The status of each coin issuing entity is listed in the Nation Status column.
C = Current, generally recognized nation (e.g. Australia, Canada, France)
F = Former nation that no longer exists. (e.g.  Manchukuo, South Vietnam, U.S.S.R)
U = Unrecognized Nation.  An entity that controls territory, but does not have widespread international recognition. It is often involved in a civil war. It is usually listed in the Standard Catalog of World Coins, (e.g. Somaliland, Saharawi Arab Republic)
N = Non Territorial.  An entity that is not widely recognized and does not control territory, (though it may claim territory).  Includes Micro-nations and fantasy issues.  It is usually listed in Unusual World Coins. (e.g. Avram)
