CARDBOARD/MYLAR COIN HOLDERS

2 x 2 coin holder Square white coin cardboard coin holder with clear mylar insert, commonly called 2x2's.
These are probably the safest and most economical way to store your coins. Coins are placed in the holder, which is then folded over and stapled shut. The front and back of the coin is visible and descriptions of the coins can be written on the holder. They can then be stored either in binder pages or boxes.

We offer three sizes.  The standard 2" x 2" (approximately 48mm x 48mm), 2.5" x 2.5" (approximately 60mm x 60mm) for large sized coins or medals (over 39mm) and 1.5" x 1.5" (approximately 36mm x 36mm) for compact storage of coins.

The openings for the coins come in the following sizes based on U.S. coins:
1 Cent, 5 Cent, 10 Cent, 25 Cent, 50 Cent, silver dollar and small (SBA/Sac./Presidential) dollar.

COIN FLIPS OR FLIPETTES, FLIP INSERTS

Double pocket flips. These are quite popular with collectors and dealers as they  allow you to put the coin in one side, a label in the other.  We offer two sizes, the standard 2 x 2 inch (approx. 48mm x 48mm) and for large size coins or medals 2.5 x 2.5 inch (approx. 60mm x 60mm).  We also offered colored inserts for use in the flips.
We offer three types:
E & T Kointain SAFLIP  are unplasticized flips for long term storage. They come boxed and with inserts. They are somewhat brittle, though stronger than the Economy Archival Flips.
ECONOMY VINYL FLIPS: Flexible plastic, however they are NOT SAFE for long term storage, particularly in hot climates. They contain PVC that can deteriorate and damage the coin, however they are strong and stand up well to handling.
ECONOMY ARCHIVAL SAFE: These are unplasticized flips. They are safe for long term storage but are are brittle and crack or break with repeated handling.

SUPERSAFE 2X2 SELF SEAL FLIPS

A new product that comes highly recommended, though I have not yet had the opportunity to personally have any extensive use with them.  They are self-sealing, thus eliminating the need and potential hazard of using staples.

2" x 2" PAPER ENVELOPES FOR COINS AND COIN SLEEVES

A convenient and inexpensive way to store coins.  Put the coin in the envelope and write a description on the outside.
For added protection some collectors like to store their coins in thin, clear Polyethlene sleeves before placing them in the envelope or use the sleeves by themselves for storing coins. Because the polyethelene sleeves to not tend to stay closed by themselves, I recommend using them with the paper envelopes.

SILICA GEL - MOISTURE PROTECTION

Silica gel helps keep your coins safe by abosrbing moisture in the atmosphere thus reducing the chance of toning or spots.  Use it in your safe deposit box safe  storage box or other enclosed area.  It will change color when it needs to be reactivated which can be done by heating it in an oven.  It is non-toxic.  It is highly recommended if your coins are stored in a humid environment.
